Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before accessing or using QuickString.in ("Website"), operated under the name QuickString.in ("QuickString", "we", "us", or "our").

QuickString provides, among other things:

  • Racket stringing services, including pickup and delivery within selected serviceable PIN codes in Bangalore;
  • Sports-related products and accessories available for purchase through our Website;
  • Delivery of eligible products across Bangalore, subject to serviceability and availability; and
  • AI-assisted racket string and related product recommendations.

By accessing, browsing, registering on, or placing an order through our Website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our Website or services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using QuickString.in, you confirm that you:

  • Are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement under applicable law;
  • Are at least 18 years of age, or are using the Website with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian;
  • Have read, understood, and agree to these Terms; and
  • Will provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information when using our Website or placing an order.

We may update or modify these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Website after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Our Services

QuickString offers sports-related products and services through its Website.

2.1 Racket Stringing Services

Our racket stringing service may include:

  • Pickup of the customer's racket from a selected address;
  • Inspection and processing of the racket;
  • Removal of existing strings, where applicable;
  • Installation of the selected string at the requested or recommended tension, subject to the suitability of the racket and string;
  • Delivery of the completed racket to the customer.

Racket stringing services are currently available only within selected serviceable PIN codes in Bangalore. Availability may vary depending on location, operational capacity, serviceability, and other factors.

2.2 Product Sales and Delivery

QuickString may offer sports-related products, accessories, strings, grips, and other items through the Website.

Eligible product deliveries are currently available across Bangalore, subject to PIN code serviceability, stock availability, delivery capacity, and any other applicable conditions displayed at checkout.

We reserve the right to add, remove, modify, suspend, or discontinue any product, service, service area, or feature at any time.

3. Service Availability and Service Areas

Our Website may allow you to check whether a particular PIN code or address is serviceable.

A serviceability indication on the Website does not guarantee that every product or service will always be available at that location. We may decline, reschedule, or cancel an order where:

  • The address is outside our serviceable area;
  • The selected service or product is unavailable;
  • Operational capacity is unavailable;
  • The address is incorrect or inaccessible;
  • Pickup or delivery cannot reasonably be completed; or
  • There is another legitimate operational, safety, legal, or technical reason.

4. Pricing and Payment

  • Unless otherwise stated, all prices are displayed in Indian Rupees (INR).
  • Applicable taxes and charges will be displayed or communicated as required at the time of purchase or checkout.
  • Pickup, delivery, express service, or other charges may vary depending on the service or delivery option selected.
  • Prices and charges may be changed from time to time. However, changes will generally not affect an order that has already been accepted and paid for, except in cases of obvious pricing or technical errors.
  • Payment must be made using the payment methods made available on the Website.
  • We may use third-party payment service providers to process payments.

If a pricing, listing, technical, or payment error occurs, we reserve the right, to the extent permitted by applicable law, to cancel or correct the affected order and issue an appropriate refund where payment has already been collected.

5. Order Placement and Acceptance

Placing an order through QuickString constitutes a request or offer to purchase the relevant product or service.

An automated order confirmation, payment confirmation, or order acknowledgement does not necessarily mean that your order has been accepted or that the service can be completed.

We reserve the right to accept, decline, cancel, or modify an order where reasonably necessary, including due to:

  • Product or string unavailability;
  • Incorrect pricing or technical errors;
  • Incorrect or incomplete customer information;
  • Payment failure or verification issues;
  • Address or serviceability limitations;
  • Suspected fraudulent or unlawful activity;
  • Operational or capacity limitations; or
  • Any other legitimate reason permitted by applicable law.

Where an order is cancelled after payment has been successfully collected, any applicable refund will be processed in accordance with these Terms and applicable law.

6. Pickup and Delivery Appointments

Customers may be required to select pickup and/or delivery dates and time slots while placing an order.

By selecting a slot, you agree that:

  • The address and contact information provided are accurate and complete;
  • The pickup or delivery location is reasonably accessible;
  • You, or an authorised person, will be available during the selected time slot;
  • The racket or relevant item will be ready for handover at the scheduled pickup time; and
  • The person handing over or receiving the item is authorised to do so.

6.1 Selected Slots

Selected pickup and delivery slots are requested appointment windows and may be subject to operational conditions.

While we will make reasonable efforts to adhere to the selected slot, we do not guarantee an exact arrival time within that window.

Pickup and delivery may be delayed or rescheduled due to factors including:

  • Traffic;
  • Weather;
  • Operational delays;
  • Vehicle or logistics issues;
  • High order volumes;
  • Unavailability of the customer;
  • Incorrect address details;
  • Events beyond our reasonable control; or
  • Other circumstances that reasonably affect our ability to perform the service.

6.2 Missed Pickup or Delivery

If no one is available to hand over or receive the racket or product during the selected slot, or if we are unable to access the location due to incorrect information or circumstances attributable to the customer, the pickup or delivery may be treated as unsuccessful.

In such cases, we may:

  • Reschedule the pickup or delivery;
  • Request the customer to select another available slot;
  • Apply any reasonable additional charge disclosed to the customer before it is imposed; or
  • Cancel the affected order where completion is not reasonably possible.

7. Racket Condition and Customer Responsibility

Before handing over a racket to QuickString, the customer should inspect it for visible damage, including cracks, fractures, structural weakness, previous repairs, or other defects.

By submitting a racket for stringing, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • Rackets may have existing or hidden structural weaknesses that are not visible during a standard external inspection;
  • A racket frame may break, crack, deform, or otherwise fail during the stringing process due to pre-existing damage, structural weakness, age, wear and tear, manufacturing defects, prior misuse, or other conditions beyond QuickString's reasonable control;
  • Stringing places mechanical stress on a racket, particularly at higher tensions;
  • Certain requested tensions or string combinations may not be suitable for a particular racket;
  • QuickString may refuse or modify a requested service where, in our reasonable judgment, proceeding could create an unreasonable risk of damage.

7.1 Existing or Hidden Damage

QuickString will make reasonable efforts to handle customer property with appropriate care. However, QuickString will not be responsible for damage or breakage resulting from:

  • A pre-existing crack, fracture, chip, or structural defect;
  • Hidden or latent weakness in the racket;
  • Normal wear and tear;
  • Previous repairs or modifications;
  • Manufacturing defects;
  • Damage caused before the racket was handed over to QuickString;
  • The condition, age, or structural integrity of the racket; or
  • A failure that occurs despite reasonable care being taken during the normal stringing process.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

7.2 Customer-Provided Strings or Materials

If you provide your own string or other material for use during the service:

  • You are responsible for ensuring that the material is suitable for the intended racket and service;
  • QuickString does not guarantee the quality, authenticity, condition, or performance of customer-provided materials;
  • We may refuse to use a material that appears damaged, unsuitable, unsafe, or incompatible;
  • We are not responsible for breakage, defects, premature failure, or performance issues arising from customer-provided materials, except to the extent caused directly by our failure to exercise reasonable care or by any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

8. String Tension and Service Results

String tension, feel, durability, and performance can be affected by various factors, including:

  • Racket model and condition;
  • String type and gauge;
  • Requested tension;
  • String characteristics;
  • Environmental conditions;
  • String tension loss over time;
  • Playing style and frequency of use; and
  • The customer's handling and use of the racket.

Accordingly, an exact playing feel, durability period, or performance outcome cannot be guaranteed.

Unless otherwise agreed or required by law, normal tension loss, ordinary wear and tear, or string breakage resulting from regular use will not automatically qualify for a refund or free re-stringing.

9. AI-Powered Recommendations

QuickString may provide AI-assisted recommendations relating to strings, tension, products, or other racket-related preferences.

These recommendations may be generated based on information provided by you and other relevant inputs or criteria.

You acknowledge that:

  • AI-generated recommendations are intended as informational and decision-support suggestions;
  • They do not constitute professional coaching, engineering, medical, or other expert advice;
  • Recommendations may not always be suitable for every player, racket, playing style, or preference;
  • Individual results and playing experiences may vary; and
  • QuickString does not guarantee any particular improvement in performance, comfort, durability, power, control, injury prevention, or other outcome as a result of following a recommendation.

The final decision regarding the selection of a string, tension, product, or service remains with you.

10. Product Information and Availability

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, specifications, prices, and images are accurate.

However:

  • Product images are for illustrative purposes;
  • Actual colours or appearance may vary depending on photography, manufacturing variations, or screen settings;
  • Product packaging may change from time to time;
  • Certain specifications may be provided by manufacturers or suppliers; and
  • We do not guarantee that all information will always be completely free from errors.

If there is a material error affecting your order, we may contact you with the available options, including correction, replacement, cancellation, or refund, as applicable.

All products are subject to availability.

11. Cancellation Policy

11.1 Cancellation Before Service or Dispatch

You may request cancellation of an order before the relevant service has commenced or, in the case of a product, before the product has been dispatched, subject to the applicable status of the order.

Where cancellation is accepted, any eligible refund will be processed using the original payment method or another legally permissible method.

11.2 Cancellation of Racket Stringing Orders

A racket stringing order may generally be cancelled before work on the racket has commenced.

Once the racket has been processed and the stringing service has commenced, cancellation may not be possible because the service and/or materials may already have been used.

If a cancellation request is received after service commencement, we will assess the order based on the work already completed and applicable consumer law.

11.3 Cancellation by QuickString

We may cancel an order where completion is not reasonably possible or where cancellation is permitted under these Terms or applicable law.

Where payment has been collected for a cancelled order, any refund due will be processed in accordance with applicable law and the circumstances of the cancellation.

12. Returns, Refunds and Service Issues

We aim to provide quality products and services. If you believe that:

  • A product is defective or damaged upon delivery;
  • You received the wrong product;
  • A service was materially different from what was agreed;
  • There was an issue with the quality or completion of a service; or
  • Another legitimate issue has occurred.

Please contact us promptly at support@quickstring.in with relevant details and, where helpful, photographs or other supporting information.

Each request will be assessed based on the nature of the product or service and applicable law.

12.1 Products

Returns, replacements, or refunds may be available where required under applicable law or where a product is defective, damaged, incorrectly supplied, or materially different from its description.

Products that have been used, altered, damaged after delivery, or rendered unsuitable for resale due to customer handling may not be eligible for return, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

12.2 Stringing Services

Because stringing is a customised service performed on a customer's racket, completed services may not be eligible for cancellation or reversal merely because the customer later changes their preference regarding the selected string, colour, tension, or playing feel.

However, this does not affect your rights where there has been a deficiency in service, an error attributable to QuickString, or any other right available under applicable law.

12.3 Refund Processing

Where a refund is approved, we will process it within a reasonable period using the original payment method where practicable.

The time taken for the refunded amount to appear in your account may depend on your bank, card issuer, UPI provider, payment gateway, or other payment service provider.

13. Customer Property and Handover

When handing over a racket or other customer property, you should ensure that:

  • The item belongs to you or you are authorised to submit it for service;
  • The item does not contain valuables or personal belongings;
  • The correct item is handed over to our representative; and
  • Any special concerns or visible damage are communicated where reasonably possible.

QuickString may maintain records of the item received, including photographs or other identifying information, for operational, quality control, dispute resolution, or record-keeping purposes.

You should inspect your racket or product upon delivery and notify us promptly of any issue.

14. Intellectual Property

All content available on QuickString.in, including but not limited to:

  • The QuickString name and branding;
  • Logos;
  • Website design;
  • Text;
  • Graphics;
  • Images;
  • Videos;
  • Product and service descriptions;
  • Recommendation systems and related content; and
  • Other proprietary materials.

All such content is owned by or licensed to QuickString and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, commercially exploit, or otherwise use any such content without our prior written permission, except where permitted by applicable law.

15. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Website for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose;
  • Provide false, misleading, or inaccurate information;
  • Interfere with the Website's operation or security;
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or accounts;
  • Introduce viruses, malware, or other harmful code;
  • Abuse, harass, threaten, or endanger QuickString personnel, delivery partners, or representatives;
  • Use automated tools to improperly access, scrape, or disrupt the Website; or
  • Use our services in a manner that violates applicable law or the rights of others.

  • We do not guarantee that the Website will always be error-free or uninterrupted;

  • Racket stringing results may vary based on the condition of the racket, selected materials, requested tension, and other factors;
  • AI-assisted recommendations do not guarantee any specific result or performance outcome.

QuickString will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or purely economic losses, including loss of profits, loss of opportunity, or loss of data, except where such limitation is not permitted by applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any statutory consumer rights or any liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded.

18. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold QuickString and its personnel harmless from claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and reasonable expenses arising directly from:

  • Your unlawful use of the Website or services;
  • Your breach of these Terms;
  • False or misleading information provided by you; or
  • Your violation of the rights of another person.

This provision does not require you to indemnify QuickString for losses caused by QuickString's own negligence, misconduct, or any liability that cannot legally be excluded.

19. Privacy

Your use of QuickString.in and our services may require us to collect and process certain personal information, such as your name, contact details, address, order details, and service-related information.

Our handling of personal data will be governed by our Privacy Policy and applicable law.

India's data protection framework includes the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, which addresses the processing of digital personal data for lawful purposes.

20. Force Majeure

QuickString will not be responsible for delays or failures in performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, severe weather, strikes, government actions, internet or technology failures, transportation disruptions, public emergencies, or other force majeure events.

Where such circumstances materially affect an order, we will make reasonable efforts to provide an appropriate update or resolution.

21. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India.

Any dispute shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts and consumer dispute resolution authorities in accordance with applicable law.

Nothing in this clause restricts any jurisdiction or remedy available to a consumer under mandatory provisions of applicable law.

22. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision shall be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

23. No Waiver

Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of our right to enforce that provision or any other provision at a later time.

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our services, business practices, legal requirements, or other operational requirements.
